Alright, sorry it's taken so long to post an image of this painting I did for my art class months ago. For the project I was supposed to capture the emotion 'Joy' so this is what transpired... This is the first time I tried oil painting...I'm much more comfortable with a pencil, or pastels, but I think it turned out alright, I'll definitely be doing more paintings in the future.
Basically, this was done in Renaissance tradition, with multiple colored layers of paint.
Size:11X14"
Medium: Oil
Time:10-12 hrs

Great work once again genni! I think it needs a little more job on the shades of the cheek, but maybe that's the scanner or the camera u used to make it digital. other than that its a beautiful work of art, like we're used to be having from you:)
